Who will be performing the treatment?

We only have qualified and experienced nurse injectors at Lioness Medical, so your procedure will be with a registered nurse.

What will be involved in the Treatment?

You will be consulted and we will advise you about what is possible in terms of treatment and answer any questions you may have. We will ask to photograph you prior to treatment (for our medical records only).

Treatments are carried out in a clinical environment only. You will be asked to lie down comfortably whilst you are treated.

Will it hurt?

The needles used in administering the treatment are extremely fine so discomfort is kept to a minimum. The injections are relatively quick too, so if you do feel them they are soon over with.

How long will it take until I see a result?

The results of your treatment may take up to 21 days, however many people see a reduction in their wrinkles 3 -5 days post-treatment.

Is there any aftercare?

We ask you to refrain from washing your face or applying make-up for 4 hours after treatment, to avoid bacteria and possible infection.
Apart from this advice, you may carry on as normal.

How long will the results last?

The majority of our wrinkle reduction and relaxation treatments last for 3 – 4 months. It is worth noting that the first treatment may be evident for a shorter length of time, e.g. 3 months, but once you have been treated again, you are more likely to see the results lasting longer.

What if I change my mind?

We want you to have this procedure if and when you are ready for it. Please tell us if you have concerns or worries, we can normally help and certainly reschedule or cancel.

How much will it cost?

This depends on how many areas you choose to have treated, and at later appointments you will be asked to choose which nurse you prefer. The cost differs between them.

The typical areas of treatment are:
1) Between the eyebrows (glabellar)
2) Crows feet or laughter lines around the eyes
3) The forehead
The cost of one area is £180, two areas is £250, three areas £315. *If you choose Nurse Ruth there is an additional surcharge of £35 on top of normal costs.

There are other areas which are treatable such as the Bunny lines on the nose or the necklace bands on the neck. These are all priced individually and costs will be disclosed at your appointment before treatment.

Aftercare Appointments

Its very important to us to know you are happy with your results. We ask you to attend a complimentary review around 21 days after the original injections, this allows us to make any necessary dose adjustments.
If we clinically believe adding more product will give you a side effect, we will NOT dose adjust you.
